Third week of Inktober, and I still managed to do one ink drawing every day. I switch between drybrushing and washes, and can't quite decide which I like best. Last week's drawings, prompts in order: Mysterious, Fat, Graceful, Filthy, Cloud, Deep, Furious.

Inktober is a challenge to draw in inks every day of October, and this year I finally found the time to join. I want to train using the drybrush technique which I find looks awesome - there are some tricks I have yet to master to do it convincingly, but I enjoy doing it a lot. A fantasy map I did for the Iron Teeth novels by Scott Straughan. Painter's Liquid Ink brushes produce strokes that flow together like tiny pools and can be made to look like old, haphazardly drawn maps. And there is a dragon in a ruined city. Really cool commission.
